Kamiakin Bowling Finishes the Season Strong at Districts

Grace Giger

The Kamiakin Girls Bowling competed at districts this past wednesday, Jan 29, at Spare time Lanes in Kennewick. Despite having a difficult regular season, the girls fought hard to place 3rd at districts, and they each bowled very well to represent Kamiakin. This was only the second year that Kamiakin has had a bowling team, and the girls improved greatly from the past season.

The districts team was led by captain Mckenna Morgan, a senior, as well as seniors Paige Savage and Allison Armitage. Also representing the Braves was sophomore Melia Bigland, who was one of the top individual bowlers in the competition. Freshman Hayden Bennett was also a key player, as well as sophomore Hannah Jameson and junior Grace Giger.

The team has many returning players, and are hoping to continue to improve, and build on this great season.
